September 15, 2014
The themes for the next few weeks are:
9/15/14- Healthy Foods
9/21/14- Fall begins
The themes will be included in the monthly newsletters in the future.
On different topic, I wanted to share an e mail from Druid Hills High School since many of our parents travel in the Druid Hills area.
“We have been informed of the arrival of President Obama to the CDC campus on Tuesday, September 16, 2014. The CDC security team has notified us that the entire CDC/Clifton Corridor will be shut down at 3:00pm for 30 minutes to one hour and again at 5:00pm. When the corridor is shut down no one will be allowed to enter or leave the area.
We would advise the DHHS community to avoid using Clifton Road to go home during PM Dismissal. This may also impact travel on N. Decatur Road heading towards the Emory Campus.”

Welcome to all our new families, we are so happy to have you here with us!
If you haven’t brought in a family photo, there is still time. The pictures of mom and dad and other loved ones can be super helpful when comforting an upset child and it helps us get to know our families better!
Look for the latest newsletter/ menu’s the first week of September.
We will be closed next Monday, September 1, 2014 to celebrate Labor Day. We hope you have a fun and safe holiday!
Until next time…

It’s back to school time and that means it’s time to say farewell to some old friends. We are so excited about your bright futures and we’re sad to see you go! It’s an emotional time for many grown ups and children as they adjust to new schedules, teachers, schools and making new friends, just remember to take a few deep breaths and know that they are ready for the next stage, even if you aren’t so much.
Until next time ~ Jo
