Canned Food Drive

This year we will be collecting canned foods for The Giving Tree Market. The Thanksgiving meals will be given to families in need on 11/18/17. Please let Ms Anniza know if you would like to help pass out the meals. The canned goods can be left in the office at any time.

We all have many things to be thankful for this year, spend some time talking about what you are thankful for with your children. Encourage children to help with holiday tasks, like dropping off canned goods, raking leaves, baking cookies, gift wrapping, decorating… they can do so many things and they learn so much while helping.

Reminders

It’s time to bring in the warm extra clothes and take the t-shirts and shorts home, also send a jacket for morning outdoor time. Please be sure to label the jacket with your child’s name.

Please keep us informed of any contact information that may have changed recently, this can be done by e-mail info@kidskondo.com or just leave a note in the office.

This is Ms Annizas' baby and she will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Each class room will collect a "dish" for a needy families' Thanksgiving meal, for example; the polliwogs will collect green beans, cream of mushroom soup and dried onions to make green bean casserole. Sign- up sheets will be posted the week of 10/23/17. It should be a fun easy way to help others in need.

Illness

With autumn will come leaves falling down, cooler weather, cute costumes, Halloween parties and unfortunately, illnesses. If your child is ill, including but not limited too; vomiting, fever, rashes, loose bowel movements, please keep them at home for 24 hours after all symptoms have stopped . For example, if we send your child home Wednesday afternoon, the earliest possible day that he/she would be able to return to the center is Friday morning. The reason for this policy is to help keep everyone free from illness.

Medication authorization forms are located in the foyer on a clipboard or on our website and need to be completed each week for as long as your child needs medication. We do not administer any over the counter medications, just those that are prescribed.

Remember the best way to protect yourself from illness is to keep your hands clean!

I have finally decided to take the plunge and add a blog to my site. I always wanted an easy way to share information with visitors and I'm super excited to start this journey. Keep coming back to my site and check for updates right here on the blog.
By avipsa.nandy 07 Sep, 2017
Anyone can make one:
For better or worse, anyone can write a blog post about anything they want. Everyone has a voice and the best voices will rise to the top.

The writer can show their personality:
In blog posts, the writer has more leeway to add in their voice and personality than other types of writing.

Blogs are a great form of mass communication:
You can help people, learn new things, entertain your audience-the possibilities are endless and amazing. Blogging opens up all of these to a very wide audience.

You can make money:

Get the right blog going and you can make a lot of money through advertising and sponsored posts.

It allows people to craft better thoughts:
Instead of reading haphazard, uneducated Facebook statuses, it's much better to see people's thought process in a well-written blog post.

You can establish a community:
Blogging allows you to connect with other individuals who share the same interests. Sharing ideas and opinions within your community helps establish yourself as a thought leader.

Good for SEO:
Keeping content on your site fresh and relevant, you can use your blog to boost the search engine ranking (SEO) of your site and your business.

It brings people back to your site:

If your blog is strong enough and updated regularly, people will come back looking for more and bring traffic back to your site as well.

It's free:
It costs you a grand total of zero dollars to post to the blog, so if you have something to say, there's nothing to stop you.

You can establish yourself as a thought leader:

A blog is a great place for your original thoughts, and it can be a wonderful way to show off your individuality. If people like your ideas, you can become a thought leader in your industry!

What else do you love about blogs? Let me know!
