| Parents: We need wagons for the Fall Festival. If you have one bring it. Thanks, |
This weeks theme definitely brought awareness to being safe and the dangers of fire. We explored many aspects surrounding the “fire truck”, from protective clothes, to stop drop and roll, and equipment. Hopefully you heard all about it at home!
Next weeks theme is Halloween Fun, (nothing scary of course). The major part of the week will be sensory learning about pumpkins. What’s inside? We’ll do a little carving too. At the end of the week we will have our Fall Festival for the entire school, rain or shine! Please make plans to attend this event….. If you dare… muahaaa…

This morning we had a fire drill, which was the event of the week for sure! I wanted to let you know that we got everyone out of the building safely and effectively. Be sure and ask your toddler or preschooler of this event.

October is Fire Safety Month. We will “Spark” learning by involving new words, fire safety activities, crafts, and a special visitor… This theme is only for the Caterpillars and Butterflies. If you have books, or toy fire trucks to share please do!
The Frogs, Bumblebees and Turtles will explore Opposites by using songs, interactive activities, and crafts. Please see detailed activity sheets posted in the classroom. Thanks!

Last weeks Life on the Farm was a blast. We enjoyed the activities as well as the breakfast together! Continuing on this week, the theme is Fall Harvest. We will explore what farmers work so hard to cultivate and produce. Veggies! This week will be extremely hands on. We will be dissecting various vegtables, ex. pumpkins, squash, artichokes, & eggplant. This theme will incorporate color recogntiion, counting, and involve sensory learning. If you have anything to contribute please do!

Excellent job in remembering to bring theme extras and sheets. You guys rock!
For the rest of the week we will explore Life on the Farm, from animals, attire, jobs, to equipment. Songs, art, and sensory experiences will be a part of this theme. Friday will be farmer dress up day. We’ll end the week with a farm fresh breakfast and afternoon line dancing. If you’d like to donate dress up items please feel free. Thanks!
