Hi Parents,

Hope you weren’t to waterlogged from the weekend! Is it September already? Wow! Thank you parents for bringing in the family photos last week. The activity was a success!

This weeks theme is Feelings and Emotions. We will talk about a range of feelings and facial expressions. Activities will include lots of role play, games, art and mirror viewing . If you have any books on this topic please donate to your child’s teachers. Have a great week!

Hello Parents,

The cold and flu season is approaching; we have put together a plan to be proactive about reducing the risks of contracting illnesses. We will do everything we can to reduce illness but we will need your help to keep everyone healthy. First we are highly recommending flu shots for all children in the center and for all staff members. When children arrive we will wash their hands, parents are encouraged to wash yours as well. For the older children we will encourage and talk to your child about covering coughs and sneezes by using their elbows rather than their hands. This is where you come in all sheets will need to be laundered daily!! (You may bring 5 sheets if you prefer). And last, if your child is ill please do not bring them to school. We will be diligent about sending sick children home. By doing so we are helping to reduce the risk of others becoming ill. We feel that these measures will greatly reduce the risk factors, thank you for helping us with this important issue.

We had the best summer! It was over too fast it seems. Thank you for allowing us to be apart of your family. We have enjoyed your children so much!

Welcome new friends! We are so excited about heading into the new “school” year. The theme for this week is “All about me”. Please bring in a photo of your child and family to share.
