Weekly Theme Update Apr 20 – 24, 2009
Hi Parents,
Happy Earth Day! This week we will be celebrating nature and the outdoors. We will also introduce what “recycle” means. For the little guys we’ll role model recycling and “clean up” the playground. Some of the children are already familiar with this. Be sure and check out the curriculum sheet in the classrooms.
Show some love and join us this Saturday from 9-1p.m. for our annual Earth Day Beautification Project. We are asking if you cannot join us to please donate plants. The list of desired plants is located on the doors of the classrooms. Please sign up so we can have an idea of what we’re working with. Thank you parents!!!

Weekly Theme Update Apr 14 – 18, 2009

Hi Parents,
We have enjoyed another successful Bird week. Thanks Mr. Robert for sharing your bird sound book with us. The children were fascinated.
Next week’s theme will be The Week of the Young Child. It is recognized on a National level. This will include learning about our health, differences, feelings, and friendships. We are one week early with this theme but we had to make room for Earth Day Week. For details see the Curriculum Sheet posted in the classroom.
Thanks!
~Raquel~
Materials Fee on Monday
Kids Kondo will be processing the materials fee on Monday April 6th.
Driveway Ettiquette
Hi Parents,
As a courtesy to all of our parents Kids Kondo would like to remind everyone about our drive etiquette. Please limit your time to 5 minutes or if you think you may be longer, take a moment to park on the street. Thanks!
Weekly Theme Update Apr 6 – 10, 2009

Next week is All about Birds. We will explore different species, life cycles, plus the facts and have fun in the process! We’ve collected a number of fabulous books and images to share. Of course our sensory activities will include, colorful feathers, games, role playing, sounds and taste testing. We will finish up the week with a guest appearance in each classroom from our “mascot” Squawker. He promises not to be such a crab. Have a wonderful weekend.
p.s. we borrowed the blue bird from Twitter :-)
