Hi Parents,

This week flew by! We accomplished our objective for the week, which was to explore the color orange, discover some new smells and tastes, (warm cocoa and cinnamon applesauce). We revisited pumpkins and the fall season along with the cooler weather. Learning has never been so much fun, except for last week and next week ;)

Next week’s theme is Feelings and Emotions. We will introduce this topic by using facial expressions, art, songs, stories and role play experiences. The detailed Curriculum Sheet will be posted in your child’s room. You are welcome to share any items pertaining to this theme. As always, thanks for all that you do.

Our Fall Festival was a success! Despite the weather, fun was had by all. We appreciate all who helped to make it great.

Weekly theme: Um smells good/Halloween Safety. We will be trying different sensory activities that involve eating the finished product. We will also explore new songs with Ms. Amy. As well as continue with our regular daily schedule. For detailed activities, see Curriculum Sheet posted on the doors.

With colder weather approaching please don’t forget to send your child in with appropriate clothing. I find that layering is best & LABEL everything. We are missing a boys blue winter jacket from the Butterfly class. (If you know of its whereabouts please see me or Jo.)
